Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Over all 8+ years of experience in agile working methodologies with experience(recent) in Banking Domain. Regional experience useful but not Mandatory.
  • Responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
  • Possesses conflict resolution, does conversation by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
  • Needs to forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source.
  • Needs to be expert in estimation and planning. He knows how to create useful, reliable and practical plans for software development projects.
  • Should be a good coach in Agile practices.
  • Help team or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
  • Ability to shield his team from outside distractions and interferences.
  • Ability to ensure the correct use of scrum process.
  • Ability to track and remove impediments.
  • Ability to work on supporting the solution of delivery teams and organization impediments
  • Increases visibility of OKRs and KPIs across interdependent teams
  • Ability to support quarterly planning across different teams
  • Strong coordination skills and relationship management is must. Projects will involve enterprise wide implementation where coordination with bank wide business groups will be required.
  • Strong team player who can lead the activities to the logical closure.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects as per agreed upon project parameters.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders including business heads, functional heads and other senior managers
  • Managing multi-location, multi-Vendor, distributed Teams including task allocation, monitoring, effective communication
  • Familiarity with project performance monitoring principles and metrics.
  • Good understanding of internationally accepted Project Management Principles, Methodologies and Practices
  • Supervising and ensuring all the projects are on track with the implementation and to ensure the projects are executed with in the approved budgets
  • Drives projects & programs to successful completion using cross functional project management best practices.
  • Aligning and updating all senior stakeholders from business and technology.
  • Recommending and supporting business stakeholders decisions and prioritization to achieve highest business value
